The prophet Muhammad may peace be upon him said: (Whoever stands in prayer during Ramadan due to faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.) What a great reward we can ever get! Imagine that all sins you’ve done in your whole life will be forgiven!
The Hadith mentioned praying Sunnah, which is not mandatory to be done, however, it’s important, especially in Ramadan; and by doing it you’ll have great rewards; if so, then how would it be for doing something essential to be done in Ramadan and other months, like understanding the words of Allah! like understanding what Almighty Allah wants to let us know, like the knowledge that Allah wants us to understand, like the Tajweed rules in order to recite the Qur’an correctly in the way that Allah wants, and to do that in groups and to mention the name of Allah so Allah mentions our names!
Ramadan is the month of treasures, including “Laylat Al-Qadr” the best ever night in the year; May Almighty Allah accept all our good deeds and forgive all our past sins.
